Irene & George Woodruff Residence Hall

Woodruff residence hall was built in 1984. Woodruff is broken up into two different sectors of dorms: North and South. This dorm features suite-style rooms (two two-person rooms sharing a full bathroom) and is co-ed by suite. The dorm is five floors high and is adjacent to Woodruff dining hall.
Philanthropy- Named in honor of Irene and George Woodruff for their multiple generous gifts to Georgia Tech
George Waldo Woodruff attended Georgia Tech in 1917, earning a degree in mechanical engineering. In the midst of his education, he fought in WWI. He later attended the Massuchusets Institute of Technology.
