O'Keefe Gym

  • The O'Keefe Gym is nicknamed the "band box"
  • The volleyball team has won 75% of home games in the gym since 1995

Back when the O'Keefe Gymnasium was built in the 1950's, it was used as the gym for O'Keefe High School. It was given to Georgia Tech in the 1960's and was used as the location for many club sports on campus. The gym became the home of the Georgia Tech Volleyball team in 1995 and is one of the premier volleyball facilities in the southeast. It is known for its "rowdy atmosphere, excellent sight lines, and loud acoustics."
